Terms of Service
Effective date: July 6, 2026
1. Who we are
Hure is a voice-first AI interview platform ("Hure", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the website at usehure.com and, for invited customers, the Hure platform. By using either, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Hure lets hiring teams define a role and a versioned interview rubric, invite candidates to a short voice interview, and receive scorecards in which every rating cites the interview transcript. Hure provides decision support:it does not make hiring decisions. The hiring decision always belongs to a human on the customer's team.
3. Accounts and access
Recruiter accounts are provided by invitation while Hure is in private beta. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Candidates do not create accounts: they access their interview through a single-use signed link tied to that interview only.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to discriminate unlawfully or to violate employment law applicable to you;
- attempt to extract, reconstruct or infer biometric identifiers, emotional states, or any signal about how a candidate looks or sounds — the service is designed not to produce these and you may not try to add them;
- probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or access the service other than through its intended interfaces;
- share candidate data from the service with anyone who has no legitimate role in the hiring decision.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for their hiring decisions and processes, including any notices, consents, or audits required where they hire (for example, notice obligations for automated employment decision tools in some jurisdictions), and for using interview results in a lawful, non-discriminatory way.
6. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: candidates are judged on what they say, never on how they look or sound — Hure performs no biometric identification and no emotion inference.
7. Intellectual property
The service, including its software and design, belongs to us. Content our customers create (roles, rubrics) and candidate interview data belong to the customer, processed by us to provide the service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.
8. Private beta
Hure is in private beta. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" during the beta.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (or USD 100 if you paid nothing).
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections 6–9 survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify customers by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
